Join local artist Nancy Murphy for a fun, beginner-friendly acrylic painting class inspired by her whimsical “Sea People” series! In this 2-hour workshop, you'll create a playful portrait of a quirky sailor, sea captain, or nautical muse using bold colors and expressive brushwork.

Nancy will guide you step-by-step through the painting process—from sketching a simple character outline to layering colors and adding personality with details like hats, stripes, and (of course) pipes! Whether your brand new to painting or just looking to loosen up and have fun, this class is all about creativity, laughter, and leaving with a finished piece you’ll be proud to frame. All materials will be supplied.
