Join Mike Clem for the story of Alice, a 17th-century woman who lived in Accomack County and faced difficulties with the courts and society’s strict rules of behavior. Despite the odds stacked against her, she raised a family alone and operated a successful farm. This is a story of the strength and resilience necessary for a woman to survive in the 17th-century colony.
