The first of the children’s books produced by the Barrier Islands Center, the Twisted Christmas Tale introduces the Hog Island Sheep and their quest to have their native Hog Island renamed in their honor. The story is based on a young orphan girl named Amanda who really did live at the Almshouse and the fascinating twisted chimney in the Almshouse. This is sure to become a Christmas classic for all families!

Written by Eastern Shore resident Andrew Barbour and illustrated by artist Cameron Waff.
